For high schoolers and above, we offer a wide array of counselor positions that work with a variety of ages in several different geographic locations. Our volunteers work diligently to shape the lives of kids and teens to help make a difference in the lives of the next generation.

Our annual gala is a memorable evening that gathers a widespread audience of community leaders and prominent individuals in the Kizuna community who support our mission of Japanese American youth development. Volunteers work behind the scenes to help set up and run this event.

The Fall Fundraiser brings together multiple generations of families and friends to compete in a series of exciting, mind-boggling challenges as a way to strengthen community bonds. At this event, volunteers help set up and run games.

Mochitsuki is a Japanese New Year’s tradition involving the pounding, molding, and, eating of mochi to usher in the new year. Tanaka Farms and OCO host a giant mochitsuki event where families and organizations can compete in a pound-off competition and enjoy food and other festivities!
