2024 Board Fellowship Update

Our Board Fellows wrapped up their 8th & final cohort workshop, which aimed to give them all of the tools they need to participate on their respective boards for the rest of 2024! They will be attending board meetings until December, while also serving on committees within their boards, attending volunteer events, and pairing up with mentors to learn more about board leadership. Best of luck to them! 👋

Our Counselor Program Has Begun!

As we mentioned in our last email, we had our first in-person counselor training session on May 11th! It was such a fantastic time getting to know this year’s cohort of young leaders. Our next training session will be on May 25th with the second half of our counselor team. 😊

Kizuna Summer Camps create lasting bonds between friends, engagement in the community, and a meaningful connection to Japanese American culture like no other program around! You can be a part of that connection with a generous donation to our Summer Camp Sustainability Campaign.
